Fostering Technological Innovation Since 2014
The IEEE Student Branch at LBS College of Engineering, Kasaragod (IEEE SB LBSCEK), established in December 2014, is dedicated to fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. Starting with 30 members under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Rensi Sam Mathew and student leader Adithya Chandra, the branch has grown into one of the most active student branches in the IEEE Kerala Section.
Today, our branch comprises more than 150 active student members united by a shared commitment to technological advancement, multidisciplinary research, and community leadership under the global motto of "Advancing Technology for Humanity."
LBS College of Engineering
Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Engineering, Kasaragod (LBSCEK), established in 1993 under the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, is a premier government engineering institution in Kerala. Located in Povval, the 52-acre campus is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and approved by AICTE.
LBSCEK provides undergraduate degrees across six core engineering disciplines, alongside postgraduate programs (M.Tech and MCA) and approved departmental research centers. As a cornerstone of technical education in northern Kerala, it nurtures students with academic excellence and hands-on professional development.
